one of my favorite parts of vienna is my oh so beloved 7th district. every time i walk through its streets i find new cafés, restaurants and cute little stores that have just opened up. it’s such a colorful district (or bezirk as the locals call it), with lots of galleries and young designer stores.
but one of the cutest little parts is the st. ulrich’s square! there’s a church in the middle of the square and little cobbled streets and historical houses that surround it. that part always makes such an impression on me.
and a major plus – the food there.
the café/restaurant that i would recommend is the ulrich
(. on weekends they serve breakfast until 15h ;) – and that’s exactly what we did! nothing beats sunday brunch!
they have all kinds of fruity drinks and homemade ice teas, but i loved the grapefruit-thymian-lemonade! so refreshing for such a hot day in the city!
and for brunch… there’s a lot to choose from, but the chosen ones were: granola with fruits and yogurt aaaand *drumroll* the vegan wake up breakfast! (description from the website: zucchini & sweet corn fritters with cashew nut sour cream, beetroot hummus, veggie sticks, avocado, tomatoes, mini porridge with fruits & berries, mini ‘green machine’)
(i’m currently traveling through the usa, so make sure you follow me on instagram to see all the places i’m visiting and the food i’m eating)
(the mini ‘green machine’)
enjoy! and visit vienna – you won’t get disappointed ;)
